WHY?

There is something comforting about having a warm cup of coffee, tea or a snack in your hand that takes the edge off when meeting new people.  
 
At Compass, “hospitality is our mentality.” Food and drinks help our guests feel at home and at ease. 
 
Also, a drink can help people stay awake and alert to better hear God’s Word! 

Role

  • Once the service has finished, allow 20 minutes to allow guests to refill their tea/coffee or grab a snack.
  • At 12:20, unplug the coffee and water pots and dump & rinse them & the Brita pitcher  in the kitchen (2nd floor, left door on back wall near bathrooms)
  • Bring containers back to sanctuary and wipe them down well with paper towels to ensure they do not get musty during the week.
  • Remove brita filter and dry that out as much as possible. Leave it in the pitcher, but out of its normal position so it can air out during the week.
  • Leave the lids OFF of the containers so they can air out throughout the week.
  • Place all hospitality table supplies back in the black cabinet.
  • Clean up snacks and wipe down any trays, utensils or plates used
  • Close up trash bag and take to dumpster (directly in front of main door across the parking lot as you exit)
